Hardcover
A hard printed cover with a square spine. Stands on a shelf and keeps its shape. Heavy 200 gsm gloss paper.
The showpiece — best for maps
Lay flat
Matte cover, lay-flat binding. Every spread opens almost completely flat, so a map across both pages is readable right through the middle. 190 gsm gloss paper.
The lightest way in
Softcover
A flexible matte cover on 150 gsm gloss paper. The lightest and cheapest option.

The shape doesn’t change what’s inside: same maps, same layout, same 300 DPI. A4 portrait costs the same as A4 landscape. A5 is cheaper.
