What we collect
The photos, captions, and trip details you add to a book, plus basic order and contact information when you buy.
Where your photos live
While you create, your photos stay on your device. They aren’t uploaded unless you choose to save, collaborate, or order your book, and once your book is ready to print, they’re never viewed by us or any AI, and are permanently deleted shortly after your book is delivered. The only way we ever see them is if you hand them to us: asking for help from inside the studio offers a tick-box, off by default, that lets us open your book to see what you’re seeing. Leave it alone and your message arrives with your words and your page count, nothing more.
When data is uploaded
Nothing is uploaded until you choose to save a book link, invite someone to add their photos, or order your book, and we ask before the first upload ever happens. Ordering begins the upload when you go through to review your book, not at payment, so the print files are ready when you are. From then on, your book link keeps itself up to date as you edit, so your work is never lost and ordering takes seconds.
Printing & retention
To print your book we share the finished file with our print partner, who keeps it only long enough to produce and ship your order, then deletes it.
Cloud drafts & accounts
Saved cloud drafts are kept 30 days from your last edit — opening or re-saving resets the clock — then deleted automatically. No account is required to build a book.
